As Members and Staff of Glengarriff Golf Club you have always had the opportunity to access and check any data that we hold on record of you. The sole purpose of personal data that Glengarriff Golf Club holds on Members and Staff is for the safe and effective running of the Club.

Glengarriff Golf Club does have an active Facebook page, which is used to share Club updates and to promote the Club. Photos of those attending events organised by the Club or Members of the Club may be posted on this page or linked/tagged by members to other sites. Your child may be photographed or filmed when participating in Glengarriff Golf Club events. In the absence of any explicit objection, those responsible will act in the best interests of the child as to whether or not their image should be posted. If, once posted, there is a request from the Parent or Guardian to remove the image, Glengarriff Golf Club will ensure the image is removed from its official Facebook page. Similarly, if any adult members do not want their image posted on the Club Facebook page they can submit a request to the office for it to be removed.
CCTV Footage
Glengarriff Golf Club uses CCTV at various external locations and at various points in our Clubhouse as part of our security system for the members and staff, visitors, grounds, equipment and buildings. Access to these images is limited to Staff and Club Officers. In the event of any issues arising which require review of such images these may also be shared with club members, Gardai and any other relevant outside bodies or persons deemed necessary to close out the investigation to the satisfaction of the Management Committee and the Gardai.
Known Personal Data Held by Glengarriff Golf Club
The list of what personal data we knowingly hold on our Members and our Staff is as follows: Gender, Name, Address, Email address, Date of Birth and Phone Number. We have reviewed this list and are satisfied that this data is required to ensure the smooth running of our Club.
You may at any time request the information that the Club maintains on you from the Office to verify its accuracy.
