Nestled in the heart of West Cork, Glengarriff Golf Club features a scenic 9-hole course that offers a rewarding challenge for golfers of Aall skill levels. With breathtaking views and carefully designed holes, each round blends the beauty of nature with the enjoyment of the game, creating a truly memorable experience.

Founded in 1934, the club has deep roots in the local community while also welcoming a growing number of members from across the country. The clubhouse, just 2.5 km from the vibrant tourist village of Glengarriff, was opened in 1989 by the late Hollywood star Maureen O’Hara, who quickly fell in love with the stunning surroundings. A passionate supporter of the local community, Maureen helped establish the Maureen O’Hara Festival of Golf, now Ireland’s longest-running golf classic.

Visitors are always welcome, and our Club President Rita Barry Murphy and Captains, Sean O’Sullivan & Anne Corbett, are committed to delivering an action-packed golfing calendar for members, guests, and visitors alike. We pride ourselves on serving a diverse clientele, from local residents to international visitors, and our friendly, welcoming atmosphere encourages golfers of all backgrounds to enjoy the charm and challenge of Glengarriff Golf Club.

The club is located just outside the village of Glengarriff, it’s easily accessible by road from Bantry, about 10 km away, and Kenmare , about 20 km away, with parking available on site.
